When starting our cafe, we had it clear that we wanted all of our providers to be local, small businesses, with the same principles as us, especially fair-trade.

Sip good Coffee with a cause. We love to think of coffee as our happy juice and our inspiration began there. Both of us love coffee so giving the perfect velvety cup of coffee is important to us. We went all around the surrounding areas to find the perfect blend and found Epilogue, by Storyville, Seattle-based specialty coffee. The best part of Storyville is, their mission to end human trafficking. There’s so many things we love about this company starting with the perfect blend of dark, strong, and smooth hints of vanilla and dark chocolate beans they offer. Storyville is based and roasted in Seattle. Storyville is known for sourcing its beans from the top 2% in the world from 3 different continents, curated varietals, it is sustainably sourced, and roasted to perfection consistently. As Storyville states, they’re a “For-Giving company, conceived and designed for one purpose, Funding Freedom Fighters” A portion of all profits are used to end human trafficking & what an honor to be able to partner for this amazing cause. Our delicious bread is delivered daily by Macrinas Bakery local to Kent, also a small family owned bakery. All of the Bread and pastries are preservative free with a one day shelf-life to assure freshness. For our produce, we’ve partnered with Charlies Produce, also local and family owned. Everything we serve is carefully and thoughtfully chosen to provide the best, so who we partner with is important and we want to show transparency through that.
