Meet the owners; Jasmin & Addie. We’re 2 sisters with a shared dream and a great friendship to fulfill that together. Addie, is amazing at it all, but has the perfect eye for detail in our menu and presentation. Addie Is great at blending flavors together and adding the unique touch. Jasmin, is great at the aesthetics of the cafe and food presentation. She loves the social part of the cafe and building relationships with all our customers, well we prefer to call them our friends. Jasmin is good at making sure our Cafe & Food are both beautiful and delicious.
We love to think of our Cafe as a safe place for all people. Where you feel the chill & sweet ambiance. Life is hard and we want to take part in the positive parts of your day and make it better. We strive to take that extra step in having friendly staff ready to serve you with a smile and to help better your day by giving you a positive experience. We have a jar to help yourself with a sweet positive notes (hence the name), to encourage you on us. We love-love and encourage everyone to be a little sweeter every day.
It began with a food truck and a desire to keep the vision going. In 2018, we bought a mini food concessions trailer & started with Smoothies & our Acai bowls at Alki Beach Park in Seattle. We had an amazing summer at work & decided we wanted a permanent location.
Within a month of looking, we found this perfect spot. We got to work and after 3 months of remodel, our brother made our vision come to life. Our brother Polo is a genius at everything and we’ll let the detail of the cafe prove you that. Everything from the bathrooms, to the tile was created with such detail that we couldn’t have though that up ourselves. We Opened our doors January 23rd, 2020 and with the help of our loving friends and family, we had an amazing and warm welcome.
Although 2020 has been a year like no other for all of us, we’re still pushing through together and are so grateful for it all. We’re ready to keep pushing through and expand this little dream of ours!
